Trouble running

Describe your system:
 - Linux distribution: Mac OSX 10.6
 - Machine type: 32bit
 - Mupen64Plus version: 1.99.1
 - Plugins used: default

Describe the problem:

I do the steps described in the readme and i get this:

dlopen('libmupen64plus.dylib') error: dlopen(libmupen64plus.dylib, 2): 
image not found
dlopen('./libmupen64plus.dylib') error: dlopen(./libmupen64plus.dylib, 2): 
image not found
AttachCoreLib() Error: failed to find Mupen64Plus Core library
logout

I'm really confused as to what is hanging this thing up. Any help would be 
appreciated

well the new version still isn't working. I downloaded last night not sure what 
the issue

I see some people have gotten solutions but no one has stated how. Would anyone
