A bug in "drop"

I have win xp home edition and dopewars 1.5.8 and it crashes every time i use the drop button. I think the game is cool, and I dont even know what the drop button is for i just want to try it and it shuts off and i have to restart. also what are the spy button and the errands button used for? please respond to donprtr@aol.com thankyou

Thanks for reporting this bug - I've been able to reproduce it under both XP Professional and RedHat Linux. (How come nobody noticed it before?!) I have fixed the problem in CVS, so it should also be fixed in the next version (1.5.9) when it's released (if you want to know when this happens, sign up to the mailing list).

The "drop" button lets you get rid of drugs to clear up space in your inventory. It's the same as "sell" except that 1. you don't get any money for them and 2. you run the risk of the cops attacking you.

Errands (spy/tip off) are used in multiplayer games - see http://dopewars.sourceforge.net/docs/clientplay.html\#multiplayer The former lets you see where another player is and how many drugs/bitches they have, and the latter gets the cops to attack them.
