Can you share an example doc with me? I haven't seen that behavior and there isn't any code in the addon which changes layout.
Since you removed the addon and it's persisting, I think there's something else going on.

It could be something else. It's weird that it happened the same time as the add-on. Maybe see if it has the same problem when you open it. Separate thought: I also noticed that if there is a "return" or "new paragraph" within a single endnote/footnote, everything after the return/paragraph is lost. The below document has this feature if you would like to see it. I often cite multiple sources in a single footnote or provide an explanation necessitating a new paragraph within an endnote/footnote.

Overall a great little add-on though.

After running end note generator, my print margins have to be toggled (regardless of original setting) in order to print right. All documents have this problem (not just the one which originally used the end note generator). I also cannot download as a word file without having weird formatting (all text shifted to the right). I tried removing the add-on but the problem is persistent.
