I ran into this problem when I was signed into multiple Google accounts and the document was owned by an account that was not the primary. Signing out of all but the one that owned the document and then rerunning the add-on worked for me.
Note: I noticed that this might be a problem when I first installed the add-on, as it asked if I wanted to install for u1 (the second Google account signed in), while my document was owned by u2 (the third Google account signed in). Even though I changed the install to be for u2, I still encountered this problem.
I downloaded the endnote generator from the google market place, all aspects of it function as normal except for when I actually try to run it, it says it refuses to connect. I've tried restarting google, closing and opening the document, and nothing is working. My document is not that long, just a ten page research paper with footnotes that need to be converted to endnotes. Please help
