Hello, with this source rpm and the new folder rpm/systemd you can install mtpolicyd in a native systemd environment. I make it with success in a RHEL7 system, but you could use the same source rpm for a SysV os.
I try to start mtpolicyd with type=notify, but it doesn't work. Maybe mtpolicyd doesn't send a notification message via sd_notify(3) or an equivalent call when it has finished starting up. I don't know, so I used type=simple.
