ssh connects but no data is transmitted. #51

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Enter host
2. Enter User
3. Enter Password
4. Select Use socks proxy
5. Select Global Proxy (yes, phone is rooted)
6. Click Tunnel Switch

so i the app says i am connected but then no data is being transfer. none of my 
apps think they have a connection

Your ROM must support IPTABLES to make SSHTunnel works. But according to your 
description, unfortunately, your ROM appears to not support it.

Tried a different SSH server and it now works. My phones does support IP 
tables.  Here is the kicker... I also have wireless tether for root on my phone 
and I would expect. The table is tether from to also have its data routed 
through the SSH tunnel hut when I do a whatismyip.com check it is the VZW IP. 
On my phone it shows my SSH tunnels. Ip
