In my last MP playthrough with several friends when I launched Stellaru at the start, all of friends were very confused what they need to click in order to see the charts and even whether they have opened the right website.
Assorted ideas
include word "Stellaru" in title
add a collapsible instruction box
remove "Choose save manually" button and its page, show the saves already at the first page
remake the legend under "Choose save manually" into a filter
remove "choose from currently loaded saves" button and page because it duplicates the filter (see above) that does the same more understandably
remove "choose from previously loaded saves" button and page because it duplicates the filter (see above) that does the same more understandably
to highlight the first in the row save, make its card into full-width card
remove "select most recent save" button because it duplicates the first in the row save and making it visually bigger (see above) is the same but more understandable
rephrase most of text from current creator's point of view into user's point of view.
I've got only problems with "wait for new save" button. One time trusting the (wrong) description I launched the Stellaris and played my 30 years, only to find out it didn't work. And even if it would "work" it won't work as expected, because it would be stuck in the confirmation step. And then I spent 30min to explain to friend how it (should) work until she understood that. There are many ways to go wrong or misunderstand it. Instead I start the game, while in pause save it, and then select the save manually. Do you use "wait for new save" or not? Let's get rid of it?
Let me know what you think about it, I could make this someday.
