List of cities supported #10

Open nvkelso opened 12 years ago

I've started this in a Google Doc: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AkflCxm869rbdGk1ZUJrR1ZKQnBUZ0tKSlFscWtSdlE#gid=0

This reflects some info here: https://github.com/codeforamerica/open311status/blob/master/lib/endpoints.json

And expands on it.

I'm curious which cities have Open311 and are also supported in this tool.

For instance, I see many more cities listed on SeeClickFix's website: http://seeclickfix.com/dunwoody_ga/open311/

Thanks for trying to expand the list of endpoints---I just requested access to the Google Doc. There is alos a big list of endpoints on the Open311 wiki.

I'm a little hesitant to put all of the SeeClickFix endpoints on the website (or at least the front page). I'm definitely interested in how their usage statistics, but I assume that the server uptime/response times will be similar/identical since it's probably all on the same server. I might create a separate sub-page for SCF endpoints, or create a Provider Filter.

Speaking of provider filters, I want to add some more metadata to the big endpoints.json file that includes fields like the endpoint provider/vendor.

Just added you to the gDoc permissions, feel free to edit.

I'm most interested in "in-house" implementations of Open311 versus SeeClickFix. Let's keep the ones that the tool currently supports in there, and add just ones that we think have enough volume to be interesting.

I'll add in the missing ones from http://wiki.open311.org/GeoReport_v2/Servers.

How can we structure this gDoc so it informs the JSON file?
