Bias the data relative to a chosen currency #38

Rebased the changes from PR #37 onto the most recent Master so there wasn't extra commit messages.

This closes #37 and #36

@eymiha I did a rebase but can you double check now that everything is ok in Master?

@sircharleswatson the bias is integrated correcty... now that the different features are all in, I may goose the interaction between controls to manage state a little better.
