Thanks for that. It ended up being just a small syntax error. Everything should work as expected now.
Thanks. I think 2to3 catches that kind of errors, like using "print" as an expression. I'll try it again soon.

The menu entries under Tools->Extempore appear greyed out and disabled. Also the extempore_* commands don't show up in the command search window.
I would like to provide more information, but I'm not familiar with ST3 plugins. I know Python though, and could try to debug it with some information.
Note: I can verify the server works by accessing through telnet.
