High CPU usage and very slow performance when using with Grammarly #1008

I installed Grammarly recently and noticed that stackedit performs very slowly when Grammarly is enabled. At the same time, chrome is using nearly 100% of one core, and stackit seems to try and sync with the cloud server continuously non-stop. Is there anything I can do to prevent this from happening?

I'm having the same issue

AdamDomafoldi commented 7 years ago

Can confirm, too.

mallim commented 7 years ago

me too, the performance is so bad and cannot use stackedit properly

I agree with the slowing with Grammarly and this morning I also noticed that with Grammarly on there seems to be a new line created in the document for every character typed which may be contributing to the slow down.

mraveloarinjaka commented 7 years ago

I am having that issue too. Should this issue raised here or to Grammarly.

same here when editing wiki articles. I have have grammerly enabled :'(

Is this an issue that Grammarly would fix or this project?

Can confirm, Grammarly adds thousands of empty lines in the process of editing a document, rendering StackEdit unusable.

pareddy113 commented 6 years ago

Yeah, I too have the same problem. Grammarly adds many empty lines and StackEdit becomes pretty slow.

benweet commented 6 years ago

That would be an issue with Grammarly, not the other way around.
