Just a bit more info from the web developer console: "Error in call to API function "files/upload": Bad HTTP "Content-Type" header: "application/octet-stream; charset=UTF-8". Expecting one of "application/octet-stream", "text/plain; charset=dropbox-cors-hack"."
Having the same issue. I found out it happens when I use non ASCII characters in my Windows folders and/or filenames synced to Dropbox. So this is a bug (not happening with Goodle Drive sync)
Reproduced! Will be fixed in the next release.
Has this been fixed?
I also get constant HTTP error 400
messages when trying to sync to my gitlab repository. This currently puts me into some trouble since my repos are now out of sync on different machines.
p.s. I temporarily fixed by readding the gitlab server
@flokno I think this is another issue. Can you open another ticket and add the HTTP response you get from your GitLab according to the network tab of your browser ?
I'll do as soon as the problem shows up again (so hopefully never, haha). Thanks for the quick reply!
@flokno @benweet Just wanted to add my +1 am receiving the same issue with my Gitlab repository as well.
Exported a pdf via Pandoc with image file by switching location of image from Google Photos to a public Github repository and copying image file address from Github. Seems to have solved the http error 400 problems for me.
Same problem at the moment with Github, see recording https://calip.io/GKIEeM6H#YK6Pz8gB
Happens both in regular tab and incognito (different account).

Same error with me and Github
I run into this error as well.
The issue is still happening. It hasn't been fixed. When i tried to link my github repo with StackEdit. HTTP Error 400 occurred.
I'm looking for a markdown editor for an important word project.
I just tried to synch a GitHub repo as a workspace and it failed with an HTML 400 error in Chrome. I'm on a Mac mini. I get the 400 error with Chrome. Same result with Safari.
Now interestingly, when tried it on Chrome on my (personal) Windows machine, it now gets to the next screen, which is the "Sign in to GitHub to continue to StackEdit".
Me pasa lo mismo, recibo error 400
Have the same issue here as well when I try to link StackEdit to a public GitHUb Repo.
HTTP error 400 when connecting to public github repo
This should not be closed. Still getting 400 errors.
I am unable to save a document of any kind to dropbox via stackedit.io (version 5). Always yields 'HTTP error 400.' in the browser. Attempt to open a document from dropbox just gives me a pop-up with a blank screen.
Any thoughts?
