If you have a look at menu > synchronize > file synchronization, you should see 2 sync locations:
The first one should be "Google Drive app data" which you can't access (it's hidden in Google Drive) nor remove (this is the location where the whole workspace is synced, you can only remove the whole app data folder). It's synced there because you chose to sign in with Google.
The second one should be an actual Google Drive file which you can access on your Google Drive. It's synced with this drive file because you opened it from or save it to Google Drive.
The history menu exposes both because they both have their own history, as you pointed out. Though I would say the second one is more useful because the drive file has some chances to get edited out of StackEdit and shared with other drive users.
So I believe the enhancement here would be to show the drive file history first. What do you think?
I think you are right, that was my issue I guess. After doing a change to a file from an external app, I couldn't see that change in the history until I switched to the second timeline which was the google drive one.
Hi, I use stackedit linked to my google account. Recently I noticed in the history of my files that stackedit proposes me a second history timeline, one from google drive account, the other from drive app history. I don't need 2 histories, it just gives unclarity and messes things up.
Is there a way to get rid of the google drive history? I want only my google drive app history (the default one I guess)
Thx.
