Publish to Google Drive doesn't honor Folder ID #1451

No matter how many times I select different folders, and even though I see those folders' IDs when I am adding the publish configuration, StackEdit always reverts to publishing to the root folder of my Google Drive account.

Same here. Hope this gets fixed soon.

As a workaround, the "Existing file ID" option is working. So you can create and move the file to the desired folder and then set a new Publish using the "Existing file ID — optional" field instead of the folder ID.

You can get your drive "file ID" by previewing it from drive, selecting "Open in new window" from the options and copying the code from the URL. It looks like this: 1iTYPWl4xJoOQ6SAq3PRHy1dz8QuKi2

Me too - at some stage something I did ended up with the file in a sub-folder, but I have been unable to replicate this. All my Google Drive workspace files go to my 'My Drive' root.

I have the same issue. The note is always published to root even I have chosen a folder.
