GitHub connection not working #1786

When trying to connect my github account it doesn't work and I get a 400 error in the console with this message

I got this error too and I found this tick and it could fix this error, you can try it.

The above piece of code is a lifesaver. @benweet , We really need to get this or another appropriate fix added into StackEdit ASAP (or at least a link to this in the above Git Issue's work around).

Bump, still broken. This project seems to be abandoned, use StackEditPro instead.
