Intermittent crash casting 'blindness & befuddlement' #158

What steps will reproduce the problem?
Cast blindness and befuddlement spell. I think it must have a target for the 
crash to happen (at least, it didn't crash when I repeatedly cast it in an 
empty room)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Not crashing would be nice 8-)

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
WindowsXP, Sang 1.02b2

Please provide any additional information below.
Note that it doesn't *always* crash, just often enough that I now have a habit 
of save-then-cast.

I also get garbage off the right of the screen, which may be related

I believe this was fixed in r203, which should be included in the current 
version.  Let me know if it's still a problem.
