We should correctly display the heroic and afraid statuses on the status bar.

The erroneous behavior is inconsistent in my recollection, that is, sometimes 
the indicator correctly shows "heroic" when heroism is overcoming fear, and 
sometimes it incorrectly shows "afraid" in this situation.
