Updates from last week ✔

• Been working on end of semester data archiving as well as start of semester requests.

Challenges I faced and things I'd like assistance with 🙏

• Issue #3605 warrants some internal discussion to figure out the best path forward. Likely we'll want a separate (from datahub) hub image for data100.

• Thanks all for your efforts during the past couple of weeks to onboard and set instructors up for success this semester.

Updates from last week ✔

• Had discussions with instructors who teach Data Science x Biology, Civil Engineering 70, Library's DS workshops with Eric etc. and helped them test their unique workflows either via Datahub or through the binder
• Scheduled conversations with Quansight folks regarding the possibility of the DevOps team supporting their accessibility efforts.
• Working on the outreach aspects of the DevOps Engineer posting
• Spent some time testing @ryanlovett's bcourses based grouping of all courses taught by instructors who potentially also use Datahub.
• Figuring out the poster design and logistics for the Eduauase conference in October.
• Wrote a python script to validate Grafana data with log data. Need to do the analysis of historical logs during the past 3 months.

I will be working in the IST timezone during the next couple of weeks. So there might be a slight delay in my response.

• @ryanlovett @balajialg for help getting R on the data8x hub -- not there yet! but close
• @ryanlovett @yuvipanda for help getting the matplotlib version situation worked out on the hub

Updates from last week ✔

• All the notebooks for Data 8x are looking good
• The gofer_submit nbextension no longer includes the dropdown of courses
• Deployed vscode into the data8xv2 hub with lots of help
• Fresno CC is trained on how to use otter locally -- a bit of a brutal configuration process to teach; we need to automate this outside of gradescope
• Working a bit with Tuskegee to get OAuth authentication working
• Working with the Data 8 crew on getting their notebooks set up correctly with GradeScope

• plenty :) -- but I think I have a path on most everything I am working on for the next couple of weeks.
