I made the subset values IRIs. When viewing a class in Protege, you can click on the subset and be redirected to the subset individual screen, but that screen doesn't list all of the other classes in the subset.
I manually created the individuals in aio-edit.owl. There wan't any automation. We could add a test (in SAPRQL for example) to identify asserted subsets that aren't defined as individuals.
