At present, spaces in the quasimode aren't visible in any way; for
instance, while in the quasimode, there's no visual distinction between
typing "google" and "google ". This ultimately creates an invisible mode
of sorts, because there's no visual feedback to tell the user whether
they've typed a space or not, which results in mode errors.
A simple solution would be to replace space characters with
vertically-centered dots in the quasimode, highlighting them appropriately
if they're typed vs. auto-completed.
