Full Screen Issue #35

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.When I copy and paste a sopcast link into sopcast player the sopcast
buffers and as soon as it reaches acceptable buffer level it automatically
changes to full screen mode.

I have no borders or title bar and no key combination will take me back to
normal window size.

The program works fabulously (better than sopcast it'self) but having to
start X is not the ideal thing.
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Please provide any additional information below.

Hi flyguy97

I am running Ubuntu Karmic 9.10 and sopcast player 0.3.3

I have changed the preferences > external player to mplayer-ontop-geometry

and everything is working great with mplayer !!!!! perhaps this is a vlc thing ?

I am quite happy using mplayer but it would be interesting to get this sorted.

Regards

Clive

Open VLC and start a DVD, if it auto-starts maximized it may be a user setting.
Look
in your video preferences for a checkbox that is labelled fullscreen.
