Thank you so much for the translations! And for making the small Objective-C
changes that also needed to be done. All very helpful. I have committed these
changes as r1034.
Inspired by your finding of the "Empty Tunnelblick VPN Configuration" string
that needed to be localized, I have also marked the string "Sample Tunnelblick
VPN Configuration" as needing to be localized.
So, to have complete German translation, I need that string translated, too. If
you have a chance, please post the translated string as a comment to this issue
(you needn't make a diff).
By the way, the English Localizable.strings file doesn't really need to be
modified by hand. To deal with all the localization, I wrote a program that
deals with .strings files. It uses genstrings to generate all the strings used
by the NSLocalized macro and in effect, creates a new English Localized.strings
file from the source-code. (Actually it is a bit more sophisticated because it
has to keep strings to the right of the equal sign, so that, for example,
"EXITING" is translated into "Disconnected".) Then it modifies all the other
Localized.strings files, adding or deleting strings as needed, and creates the
NeedsTranslation.strings files. When I make program changes that add, change,
or delete any strings that are localized, or someone provides new translations,
I run this program and it makes sure all the languages have consistent files.
Sometime when I have the time I'll document this program and make it public,
but it still has a couple of idiosyncrasies, and it is only really useful for
programs (like Tunnelblick) that don't have translators localize .nib/.xib
files. (The Tunnelblick program localizes the .nib/.xib files on-the-fly, when
they are loaded, so that translators need only deal with strings.)

OK, I have the translation of "Sample Tunnelblick VPN Configuration", so the
German localization is complete.
