What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Stop moving.
2. Turn around.
3. Heading arrow still shows what was last direction of movement.
What is expected? What do you get instead?
When not moving, the heading arrow should point in the direction in which the
phone points - it should use magnetic compass instead of GPS.
This feature exists on Garmin Etrex Vista HCX and it uses two settings:
- pre-set speed after reaching which the heading uses direction from the GPS,
- pre-set time after which when you stop it uses compass to set heading.
This is very nice feature when you are outdoor and want to look around - the
heading shows you what you are looking at.
