Hi All, Last week I provided feedback on the HTML5 application. Could you please provide status on the changes and updates and/or provide an updated application for us to review?

Thank you very much!

Hi Matt, I've updated the project. I'm still waiting for my teammate Andy to test it on the device (because certain internet protocol prevent it from working in normal browser). There are 2 things we'll be update shortly: the facebook and switching between data and title (for now title is still default, but it'd be easy to switch)

hi Matt, I've uploaded the most update version to GitHub. However, I could not tested it on my machine. Hopefully my teammate Andy will test it soon (he has finals this week). Sadly, HTML5 app cannot build on laptop. It must be built directly on device using PhoneGap

Huy; I downloaded the source code today and ran on my local machine. Nothing showed up in any of the tabs. Are the connections to the feeds parsing correctly?

Let me know if that is what you meant by "HTML5 app cannot build on laptop".

Thanks!

Hi Matt, as I said before, all browsers do not allow cross-domain-request ==> that means you're not allow to access the feed online if run on browser.

Here is how to deploy the app (I will get Andy to share his info with you because he's the one deploying the app) set up PhoneGap or Adobe PhoneGap plug in build directly from GitHub into device _ or you can use PhoneGap to convert it into the native app and then deploy on device

remember, you can only run these app through Tablet after using PhoneGap to convert it

If you guys tell me how to set up PhoneGap, I will make the build server do it. I need command-line instructions.

Hey Matt, Adobe seemed to have deleted my phonegap account so it took me a while to get it up. Here is the .apk since professor Horstmann said that this will be mainly used for Android tablet. This .apk still needs its icon and title, but hopefully you guys know how to add that to it. bernard_mesa_cinequest_html5-debug.apkhttps://docs.google.com/file/d/0B5HDRpL2JdojX1BrX0hhdmlFMjg/edit?usp=drive_web

Also to build using command line: Follow the poorly documented installation for phonegap: http://phonegap.com/install/ Run phonegap build android in the app directory Here's where i had trouble, phonegap tries to detect the android SDK environment, but instead goes to the remote environment. This requires an account with adobe to use their build.phonegap application. Since i couldn't get it to work, I eventually had to make an account.
