Problem installing in Code - OSS #11

Hi! I'm trying to install the extension in Code - OSS. I'm being asked: Use python interpreter "Python"? yes/no. No matter what I choose, an error message appears: "Select Python Interpreter first!" and I'm stuck. Any suggestions?

I actually made it work by activating the conda environment before starting code.
