adds package.json for it to be installable by npm

Also, please consider publishing this to the npm registry.

gauge.js is already taken however, but maybe gaugejs?

@davekiss: Time constraints... Definitely not bad will or intentions. ... and the fact that I have no experience publishing npm packages.
