Support tiff and float #16

Currently, we only support 8bit-per-channel jpgs and pngs. At least tiff images with float values should be possible to work with.

Some tiffs can be loaded latest after Commit c4cfa1178cb7c3b329d6ea7fad98975651ef464c.
