Ad-Hoc WiFi communication (or LAN communication) #4597

Feature request

Offline BLE communication but over Ad-Hoc WiFi, or at least over a LAN connection.

Context

This just expands the methods used to communicate offline in addition to BLE.

Possible implementation

Could be implemented alongside an Ad-Hoc WiFi implementation of #4484 Not sure on the viability of an Ad-Hoc communication, but communication over a LAN connection would work similar to Briar as well.

We already have already implemented multi-peer connectivity (between two iOS/macOS) and Android Nearby (between two Android).

Would be cool but we don't implement it now because we don't have API access on iOS.

@RageGamerBoi : We plan to close this for now. We can re-open when we have API access on iOS.
