If we're looking to add Nucleo Icons into Carbon (don't quite remember what the issue is for) right now the tutorials page only shows an option for font icons: https://nucleoapp.com/docs/tutorials, looks like SVG Symbols are coming soon. I could see us using the font icons similar to Font Awesome. There's definitely upsides and downsides to that.
