Disable Mainscreen Carousel option logic fix + other slight fixes #252

There was a mistake in the logic checks that meant turning on the "Disable mainscreen carousel" option didn't actually disable it
Also fixed some problems raised by the luacheck extension
Some auto-formatting carried out by editorconfig too
