Minecraft crashes on startup #106

I have this problem, where I start Minecraft through the Betacraft launcher. The window opens up, but crashes. The only setting I've changed is the Language. Any Minecraft version that starts, it crashes. For example Beta 1.7.3. I want to try the Portal Gun mod. Note: when I launch Minecraft 1.2.x, the Mojang logo shows up, but the game crashes 1 second later. Diagnostics info: OS: Windows 8.1 RAM: 6GB JVM arguments: -Xmx1024M Minecraft size and height: 854 480

What Java version are you using?

Fixed with lwjgl update that happened in January 2022.
