While I think the novelty of this is cool, I worry about the security of supporting such an old OS given that modern Minecraft requires a login to a Microsoft account. Personally, I wouldn't trust my Microsoft account credentials on anything XP or prior.
Edit: I think it to be even more insecure given the last version of Java that I could find works on Windows 2000 was Java 6 update 31, released in early 2012 which was over 12 years ago.

Describe the bug On Windows 2000, whne you try to launch any version, it never launches and when you try to login using a Microsoft account, it never opens the prompt with the code.
To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Expected behavior What should've happened is the gave would've launched and the popup with the microsoft account login code should've poped up
