[BUG] beta 1.2_02-dev-20110507 hangs trying to load title screen #350

Describe the bug Attempting to load beta 1.2_02-dev-20110507 will cause it to hang just before loading the title screen, leaving it stuck on a dirt background. The full release of beta 1.2_02 is not affected by this issue.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Set your instance version to beta 1.2_02-dev-20110507
  2. Run it
  3. The game should immediately hang on a dirt background after the Mojang logo shows up.

Expected behavior The title screen would load properly.

Additional context Not tested on Betacraft 1.0.x, but I assume it's broken there too.

This is only broken in v2.
