[BUG] No sound on versions 1.0 or higher #369

I noticed that the "resources" folder on all versions remains empty. Manually adding the files into the folder doesn't fix the issue either. Beta versions have sound.

I will try to replicate, be more specific, what versions of minecraft, have you tried that had no sound

make sure you have you in game Minecraft settings to have sound.

I have tried 1.0 and 1.1 so far. No sound on either. Also tried B1.7.3 and B1.8.1 and they both have sound as normal. Sound is at 100% and Minecraft is not muted in the sound settings on taskbar tray.

I confirmed and I tried with your same version of the launcher and I can not hear sound in 1.5.2. try just using the v1 launcher, like 1.09_07. That's what I use and its mainly better expect the latest version it goes to is 1.5.2. that's why the v2 launcher is still in prerelease, it has many bugs and missing features compared to the latest v1 launcher

if you need any version after that just use the v2 launcher.
