Some additional comments:

3.2.1 is not particular clear to me: You define Moment as "expectations of powers of the embedding function", I always understand moments as the expectation of powers of some random variables, in your writing are you indicating the random variables is the embedding function?

A random variable is any function from the sample space to the real numbers. Embedding functions are just canonical random variables in some spaces, hence their expectations are particularly natural ways to quantify a given distribution.
