Before You Punish Me Based on What Someone Told You, Give Me a Chance to Defend Myself! #2

One morning in primary 3 while I was taking breakfast, my parents flogged me because my class teacher told them to caution me on the issue of begging.

Apparently, he saw me 'begging' for cheese balls, I mean c'mon! I know I asked for cheese balls but I was nowhere near the 'beggy beggy' he painted me as!

It's been more than ten years since that incidence but I still remember it like yesterday.

Dad: What are you always doing in school! Me: (confused and speechless) Mum: See how guilty she looks! Dad: (brings out belt)

Well... you know the rest...

These people did not even give me a chance to defend myself! I mean, what if the teacher lied?

My Mom once flogged me for just assuming I took some amount of money. She flogged me so well mehn. I still remember it like yesterday, as well.

She ended up finding the money where she kept it. I was so pissed, and couldn't do or say anything. I thought at that moment, that I was adopted.

But well, since then she trusts me, and knows I'm never the type to be blinded by money.
