Faculty Can't Edit Bios #25

Just received this from Chris Gehrz:

Description: Hi there,

I tried to edit my faculty bio after getting AnnMarie's e-mail earlier this afternoon, but I keep running into an error ("It's not a problem, probably.")

I'm on a Mac and did try it in a couple of browsers (Safari, Chrome)...

Any ideas? Or are we still working out some kinks? Chris

update from Chris: Entered on 09/22/2014 at 14:58:13 CDT (GMT-0500) by cgehrz@bethel.edu: Oops, spoke too soon... I tried making a small change and got an "Internal server error" when I tried to submit.

Haha, As long as its the same Internal Services Error I got when I tried to edit, yes.

Besides, its like I didn't fix his first issue :D

Update from Lauren Pareigat:

Pa just let me know that at least 6 faculty in the sciences are getting an "internal server error" message when they click on the "Edit Your Faculty Bio" button on Tinker. Pa is able to get in and see them all, but the faculty are not.

This was a bug introduced when we switched it to check metadata instead of just the author field for bio access. It would fail if you did not have a user in Cascade. I did some testing locally and it seems okay, but I might get in contact with Nathan tomorrow and ask him to test to make sure.

Nathan said his was working okay, so it should be good to go.
