Enhanced Movie Center: Renaming a folder with dot inside not possible #302

Say you have a folder "Test.A" and activate the rename function you get only "Test" for renaming. The splitting and hiding of the extension makes sense for files but should not be done for directory paths. This gets special importance if you work a lot with web folders where the authors use dots instead of blanks, eg. 'My.Videos.From.The.Holidays'.
