Duplication of events #10

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Create contact with parentheses, e.g. "contact1 (friend)"
2. Try to sync. On each sync you will have new event

What version of the product are you using?
Version: 3.03

Actually this is happening to ALL my contacts on EVERY sync :(

Yeah, me too. Every contact (or at least nearly every one) gets duplicated when 
I sync.

The problem was the string search function, which was used to compare the 
entries. I have to escape the special characters used by the regexp engine.
