Can't see any settings after adding gadget to Google Calendar #18

When I add this gadget via link on the main page
(http://www.google.com/calendar/render?gadgeturl=http://gcalbirthdays.googlecode
.com/svn/trunk/gCalBirthdays/Gadget/gCalBirthdays.xml) it adds to my gadget bar
in the Google Calendar, but I can only see the name of the gadget and its logo.
I can't see any "Settings" link nor anything else.

I also tried other ways of using it and all of them failed. I tried using the
"online version"
html) and after clicking "Login" I get the page with an error message "The page
you requested is invalid.".

Using it as a iGoogle gadget
(http://www.google.de/ig/directory?type=gadgets&url=gcalbirthdays.googlecode.com
/svn/trunk/gCalBirthdays/Gadget/gCalBirthdays.xml) also doesn't work. After I
click "Add" button nothing happens. At first it says that the gadget was added,
but I can't see it anywhere and when I refresh the page
(http://www.google.de/ig/directory?type=gadgets&url=gcalbirthdays.googlecode.com
/svn/trunk/gCalBirthdays/Gadget/gCalBirthdays.xml) it shows me button "Add"
again.

Is this project still being developed or you have dropped it?

Hi,

actually I'm not using / maintaining it.

It seems the login process has to be adapted.

Google will close iGoogle on 1. November 2013.

Notes from Google:

The GData JavaScript Client Library is officially deprecated as of April 20,
2012. It will continue to work, and does not have a shutoff date. However we
strongly encourage you to move to the new Google APIs Client Library for
JavaScript.

The AuthSubJS authentication system is no longer available, as of July 2, 2012.
All examples that used that system have been removed from this project.
