Overview

This is an issue to jot down a running backlog of grant ideas.

These may include possible RFP ideas, retroactive funding items, or other details.

Ecosystem

Proposal Automation Amount: $$$ Person: @abbey-titcomb Description: something that makes creating on-chain proposals easier

Delegationi Automation Amount: $$$ Person: @abbey-titcomb Description: something that makes delegating easier

Radicle Core

Naming of orgs (retroactive funding) Amount: 2000 USDC PR: https://github.com/radicle-dev/radicle-upstream/pull/2180

L2 Colab.land integration Credit: @gh0stwheel

I think that the obvious candidate for this would probably be trying to get the Collab.land Discord bot to work with Polygon, since it seems likely that Polygon is the first layer 2 we'll target. But that said it may make sense to hold starting this process for another couple of weeks until we have a clearer plan in place around how to move forward with Polygon.

Community

Definitely see a grant in process for developing our governance "stack". We need an easier dashboard/tool for proposing, voting, and delegating. Have a ton of feedback here and honestly would love to put out a RFP to the ecosystem for helping us build out our governance infra. I think it could either be our own platform or a hodge-podge of different governance tools.

@abbey-titcomb cool!

Definitely can think of some iterative v1 -> v2 -> vN type ideas here

Because Radicle provides such an interesting primitive with NFT-based membership, I think a good north star here is having something that feels "natively Radicle" such that people can take care of all their code/development governance all within 1 app (i.e. Radicle)

But yeah, I imagine v1 would be like...whatever works better than the current process :)
