I'm not very interested in using the ver 1 code unless they are able to nitpick certain components to reuse. there are way too many bugs (as far as i remember dev feedback) to be worth the effort, plus that was made in Vue.
As for ver 1, codes can be found here https://github.com/bettersg/saylah
@gingy3 noted. @delose and Lucas Foo (Slack username), kindly check what are all the things that can be reused.
Here's the plan:
Reuse code from version 1 of SayLah to pre-populate the home page with pre-defined items. This will streamline the process and ensure consistency. @gingy3 , please confirm that @delose and Lucas Foo (Slack username) have access to the v1 code.
@lucas , the current system is built using Vue.js as a static version (https://saylah.sg/). I request your support to assist @delose in transforming it into an Angular-based system. This task entails activities such as adjusting routes, templates, controllers, and components. I am confident that your past experience with Vue.js will be helpful here.
Benefits: Efficiency: Reusing code eliminates the need to recreate content from scratch, saving time and resources. Consistency: Using existing code ensures a cohesive look and feel across different versions of SayLah, maintaining a seamless user experience. Reduced workload: This approach frees up time for other development tasks, allowing for faster progress and innovation.
Next steps: @gingy3 , please verify code access for Delose and Lucas. @delose and Lucas Foo (Slack username), proceed with code reuse to pre-populate the home page.
