Could you briefly explain in what ways this automated trading on Trade view differs from using the auto view ? Auto view uses as simple chrome extension for it's deployment of strategies on trade with multi exchanges using Trade view. In what way yours is different? or in other word how much level of utilisation factor of your code varies with Auto View.? Thanks in advance

This runs in the cloud, and thus doesn’t require your machine to be on.

Auto view can also be run in cloud as here https://github.com/IAMtheIAM/autoview-tradingview-chrome-docker-bot what else your project differes from others.?

@amebamcare Thanks for the reference there :-D I too am curious about this project. So far my cloud implementation of Autoview has worked quite well. However this is a slightly different technology stack which does essentially the same thing.

I have also developed quite an effective bot-builder trading strategy. It is very flexible and has some good logic in it to generate a high ROI over time. So far I have been able to completely eliminate any repainting issues so it appears the backtesting results are accurate.

I will provide assistance in developing a project like this further if my help would be desired.

I did find one quite large difference upon inspecting some of the code here. It appears that currently this firebase implementation of the Bitfinex order api only supports trading BTCUSD exclusively, and no other cryptos. Additionally it appears to only submit market orders, as I could not find any special logic for interpreting stop-limits and trailing-stops.

I wonder, is this something the authors would be open to expanding?

For now, there are plenty of alternatives to the basics that this repo accomplishes.

I've cataloged those I am aware of at https://notes.balupton.com/crypto/

The goal however is the roadmap. As seen in the readme:

  1. Storage of trade data for historical reporting of profit and loss against strategies and securities
  2. Storage of market data for more advanced strategies that can be operated independently of Trading View
  3. An app that allows users to register, browse strategy performance, and connect their portfolios to the strategies
  4. A marketplace for acquiring and renting strategies (%/$ on profits/month/trade)
  5. Public/Private user profiles, automated trade performance, and portfolio size

Been working the year on accomplishing it. The repos for that are currently private, but will be open sourced as things go along. Happy for contributors interested in accomplishing the roadmap.

@amebamcare Hello. I am still working on my trading bot. It's getting very good results now in paper trading mode. Note: that I have switched to using Gekko Bot as it is not dependent on TradingView.com alerts in any way, and therefore, significantly more reliable. It is written in JavaScript, which was a plus for me.

@IAMtheIAM Thanks and using tradingview over cloud is not getting desirable result even sometimes bad result due to its slow connectivity issues while we use on cloud platform. So your idea of changing into new platform is well and good. Any workable trial or commercial bots available on GEKKO for exchanges like bitmex.? or any joint deal do you have right now .? Please dont hesitate to contact me via PM.
