Muted player's pings are still visible on the ground, but there is no animation effect. Audio is clearly audible as well.

Pings not visible nor audible.

Pings visible and audible.

Mute player, let him ping ingame.

I'm not sure what part of the game this is. Can you tag it appropriately as best you know?
