Registration is a mess. Verification code not working.

Description

I can not register an account because the verification code i received is according to the game wrong. I did not receive another and there seems to be no function to request a new one. I copy and pasted and i typed it once(to check if invisible characters are the problem). So i am stuck. Tried again with another email : same result. Had a friend try: same result. Searched online: found this one having the same problem : https://www.reddit.com/r/beyondallreason/comments/1csudlt/not_receiving_activation_email_with_verification/ Discord does not work in my browser(dont know why), so i can not ask for help there. Asking to accept a third party license is also no very ethical.

Expected Behaviour

When i type in the verification code the game should log in.

Actual Behaviour

The game presents red letters in the login screen saying: incorrect code

Reproduction steps

1. Register account
2. received email
3. try to login with code from mail
4. ERROR

Relates to #3526 . Please don't use inflammatory remarks like "Registration is a mess" because to date it has worked fine for a lot of people, so let's just call it a bug.
