Fatal: not a git repository (or any of the parent directories): .git #333

So I get the below error trying to connect to a remote site. It seems to imply the remote folder isn't in git. Yet going to the configured Project Path there's a .git file in that folder and git status etc runs fine.

What is Invoker doing to identify a git repository?

OS: darwin Remote OS: Ubuntu 20.04.5 LTS Invoker Version: 2.11.0 Laravel Version: 9.51.0 Local project: unknown PHP Binary: /usr/local/bin/php Route: /home

Error:
