Attempting to Delete List Breaks Widget Until Browser Restart #5

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Click on the tasks icon to open to popup
2. Click on the lists menu and Select "Delete List"

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expect the list to be deleted and optionally a confirmation dialog appear. I
see a confirmation dialog appear momentarily and then immediately disappear.
The popup is then blocked because the confirmation dialog has popped up,
however I cannot see the confirmation dialog to address it.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Version 1.0 of the browser plugin, Version 12.0.742.30 of Chrome and Mac OSX
10.6.7

Nice catch. Fortunately you don't have to restart you browser (hence losing
state / logins / whatever) as disabling and re-enabling the extension will
suffice.

Implementing the feature in issue 3
(http://code.google.com/p/google-tasks-chrome-extension/issues/detail?id=3)
would also fix this.

The same issue occurs when attempting to add a new list. Restarting the
extension does fix the issue, I am however still unable to add new lists via
the extension.

Also, renaming a list does the same.
