Guten Tag Markus

Wir arbeiten an der Verbesserung landwirtschaftlicher Produktion im Hinblick auf die Umweltverträglichkeit. Vor 2 Jahren sind wir nun zum Schluss gekommen, dass wir dafür auch direkt in die Agrarrobotik einsteigen müssen. Wir haben deshalb ein Open Source Projekt mit anderen Hochschulen lanciert. Siehe Präsentation im Anhang.

Wärst Du bereit zu einem kurzen Gespräch? Ich würde mich gerne mit Dir darüber austauschen, wie eine community am besten aufgebaut und gepflegt werden kann.

Ich habe bestehende Projekte entdeckt, mit denen wir möglicherweise zusammen arbeiten könnten: https://github.com/romi ( -> gegenseitige Interessensbekundung) https://github.com/earthrover ( -> Anfrage gestellt, bisher keine Antwort) Zusätzlich ist wird eine Antwort aus Australien Anfang 2024 erwartet. Dort wäre ein sehr potentes Team und bestehende Hardware am Werk. Zu den Fragen: Wo steht ihr im "Open Source Veröffentlichungsprozess"? -> Abklärungen zu bestehenden Projekten und "Weiterbildung" der beteiligten bezüglich open source

Wollt ihr Teil der [BFH Open Source Community](https://bfh.github.io/contribute#community-of-practice) werden und an den Bi-Weeklies teilnehmen?

-> Sehr gerne, ich kann allerdings nur Montag bis Mittwoch. 

Wollt ihr das [DSL/IPST](https://www.bfh.ch/de/forschung/forschungsbereiche/digital-sustainability-lab/) für eine Begleitung von OFA beauftragen?

-> Auch sehr gerne, Budget müssten wir noch klären

Wollt ihr einen eigenen Verein gründen oder bspw. im Rahmen von [CH Open](https://www.ch-open.ch/) wirken?
    ala https://www.opensource.construction/

-> Noch unklar, falls es zu einer internationalen Zusammenarbeit kommt, sollen sich mit der Organisationsform alle "wohl" fühlen.

  • [ ] Are 'orga' / 'initiative' folders really needed? Or can we add the relevant info to readme file I see that larger organizations seem to choose the later

No that is not necessary at all and could also be added at a later point in time.

  • [ ] is there any way to link organizations/repos, e.g. in case of the ROMI team working on object recognition and OFA on mobile robotics - in a way that code is compatible

Did you consider forking the repos that are relevant / interesting for collaboration?

  • [ ] Which licence to use? -> schedule code analysis?

Yes I'd recommend that.

-> motion control and safety relevant code is based on EEROS => Apache 2.0

Yes that should IMHO be doable. The CoP itself was also an HDT Project
