Can install a package from a repo that doens't follow the $version-$release format.

Also locked json_pure to compatible version for rbuy 1.9 tests.

You pulled in some other commits with this PR.

This is the best way submitted so far for solving this. #60 and #76 both don't account for version-iteration so should be closed.
