This is a collection of a lot of additions that I needed to make to support an existing, complex gitlab CI pipeline. I tried to stick to the patterns in this repo but there probably a few breaking changes sprinkled in.

Wow, this is quite an impressive bit of work. On cursory review this looks good and it produces identical output with my existing application so no objections from me. Thanks!
